The more tools you have in your toolbox, the bigger the likelihood you’ll do your job exceptionally well, especially when it comes to running a complex platform such as AEM. The Exadel Digital Experience Team effectively managed intricate challenges thanks to our carefully curated toolbox.

While businesses are getting ready for Adobe Summit 2024, our team would like to walk you through the AEM tools at our disposal. Every day, our crafted solutions empower clients to enhance code, streamline page creation, and optimize content production through efficient automation.

What’s in the AEM Exadel Toolbox?

Authoring Kit for AEM automates the creation of feature-rich components for AEM pages and provides friendly authoring dialogs. We have heightened flexibility with new injectors, expanded data source support, scripting features, and AEMaaCS-compatible builds. This propels AEM development to a new level of comfort in content management.

We are working on a project fork, Exadel Authoring Kit Plus, featuring AI Authoring Assistant. The tool leverages customizable integrations with different AI providers (LLMs), whether they are used over the internet or run independently on the customer’s own equipment. AI Authoring Assistant can:

  • expand an idea into a text

  • run a text-to-image task and store the result in DAM

  • rewrite a previously created text to address a particular audience

  • perform a translation

  • proofread

  • summarize text and pick up appropriate tags (keywords)

  • do a smart “search and replace” within text

  • draft a complete web page of multiple media types in one click

… and much more.

BackPack for AEM is a mature solution that creates AEM content packages in a modern, intuitive interface. BackPack can:

  • add pages to a package together with the reference assets
  • follow links to other pages
  • include all the resources that satisfy queries
  • include live copies and more

BackPack’s upcoming interface overhaul focuses on boosting productivity with user-friendly operations.

Rollout Manager for AEM caters to requests from content authors. The tool follows both straightforward and complex content rollout scenarios, performs cascade rollouts, and an upcoming extra feature will offer the ability to roll out a resource and activate it in one click. Rollout Manager earns acclaim from content teams for its user-friendly design, seamless integration with the AEM interface, and valuable feedback.

Link Inspector for AEM provides robust online and offline audits of hyperlinks present on website pages, both internal and external. It can be run as a scheduled background job and produce a detailed downloadable report. Link Inspector also provides an interface for correcting failing links either one by one or in batches. The tool has been tested on high-load websites, reliably handling hundreds of thousands of links.

EToolbox AnyDiff is a developer-oriented tool that compares content packages, files, and web pages (online and offline). The tool simplifies regression testing as well as content and asset management. AnyDiff streamlines comparisons, prioritizing meaningful changes and bypassing inconsequential differences that may distract from the essence.
