Engineering Community Development

We currently have 20 communities, each representing different departments and regions. These communities also have local branches, like JS, .NET, Java, and AI.

There are 9 local communities across cities like Wroclaw, Bialystok, Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Tbilisi, Sofia, Vinnytsia, and Vilnius. They regularly organize events on key IT topics, offering valuable learning opportunities for all. Our values align with our community members and the broader company vision. When setting goals, I ensure we consider the company strategy, departmental needs, and our members’ professional growth. It’s crucial to stay aligned with other departments, synchronize efforts, and contribute to the company’s overall strategy.

Our communities help colleagues build networks, create safe spaces to ask for help, find solutions, exchange ideas, and receive motivation to grow. Together, we foster a supportive environment that empowers everyone to thrive.

Turning Ideas into Impact

Exadel’s communities wouldn’t be what they are today without one fundamental principle: a relentless pursuit of new ideas. Innovation isn’t just encouraged here, it’s the driving force behind everything we do. The moment an idea sparks, we recognize its potential and take steps to nurture it.

It’s crucial that the company not only supports the communities but also nurtures the ideas that emerge from them. When new ideas or initiatives arise, the company’s backing is key to turning them into reality. This support drives innovation through new technologies, community branches, or internal projects. The company’s openness to these ideas fosters a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, allowing community members to feel that their contributions are valued and impactful.

By providing resources, tools, and a clear collaboration channel, the company brings ideas to life and ensures they align with our broader vision and goals. However, supporting ideas is just the first step: for ideas to be born in the first place, they need the right environment. Innovation flourishes when people feel safe brainstorming, experimenting, and even failing without fear.

AI Community

Creating an environment where ideas naturally spark directly impacts the company’s success: encouraging and supporting innovation leads to authentic, transformative changes. Iuliia recalls one of the standout moments within the community, where open discussions and experimentation led to a tangible breakthrough: the integration of AI-driven automation tools at Exadel.

Within our AI community, we regularly discuss, explore, and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance company processes. One AI & DS Community initiative uses n8n as an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tool to automate daily tasks. What began as a meetup idea has evolved into a fully implemented n8n instance, allowing employees to automate their processes. n8n is designed to be accessible to users of all skill levels, enabling the creation of advanced data workflows with AI integration.

The Future of Exadel’s Engineering Communities

Our experience and resources allow us to drive an even greater impact.

This culture, shaped by our engineering communities, is driven by the people, Exadellers, who share their knowledge, support new ideas, and turn them into something real. Thank you to everyone who makes this possible!
