Beyond AI: Exadel at PAM Summit 2024

We are excited to share that we recently participated in the PAM Summit 2024, hosted by the Cracow Branch of the Project Management Institute Poland Chapter (PMI Poland). We enjoyed two days packed with workshops, networking, and insightful discussions with experts in project management, product management, business analysis, and related fields!

Exadellers Anastasia Strizh (Head of Business Analysis Department) and Ryszard Mika (Delivery Director) represented our company and showcased all our work in an inspirational and informative way. Let’s look at a few snapshots of our speakers’ insights.

The current landscape is dominated by AI, but at Exadel, we remain focused on the human element – specifically, how we empower our people through our Resource Management Organization. We observe that today’s labor market is oversaturated with employees, yet there is a severe shortage of qualified professionals with cross-disciplinary skills.

Currently, we face challenges which we cannot ignore:

  1. AI is transforming the skills in demand, making reskilling and upskilling essential for career advancement. Now, we think about how to efficiently requalify specialists in alignment with company goals, budgets, and people’s expectations.

  2. To attract and retain top talent, it’s not enough to simply offer high salaries. Companies need to create professional growth, socialization, and self-actualization conditions for their employees.

  3. The mass transition to remote work requires companies to adopt new communication and employee engagement approaches.

During my speech, I discussed how Exadel addresses these challenges head-on.

We prioritize a robust resource management organization to optimize workforce practices, enhance employee engagement, and nurture each individual’s potential. We foster a sense of community through internal events and communities. These platforms encourage communication, knowledge sharing, and professional development among our employees. Additionally, we invest heavily in employee training and reskilling programs, empowering them to stay ahead in the ever-evolving job market. By strategically leveraging technology, we create a work environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and ready to tackle new challenges. I firmly believe that people are not just resources; they are a company’s most valuable asset.

Like other PMI events, this one was exceptionally well-organized, featuring insightful sessions, engaging workshops, and inspiring speakers sharing their expertise on stage.

The event served as a springboard for a key realization: there’s a genuine, industry-wide enthusiasm for AI, encompassing businesses of all sizes. This recognition presents a significant opportunity for One Exadel to capitalize on this trend by crafting bespoke AI solutions that address contemporary business challenges.

During the summit, I facilitated a 3-hour workshop in polish titled “Case Study: AI Project Management from Requirements to Solution Building“. My objective was to equip Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other experts with the tools to distinguish between managing traditional IT projects, like e-commerce platform implementations, and projects involving AI-based solutions. Feedback from the workshop was really positive, hence I truly believe that now all participants know that “data is the new oil” and “garbage in” means “garbage out” when it comes to the probabilistic AI projects.

Our participation in the PMI® Krakow Branch PAM Summit was a resounding success. We are grateful to the IIBA Poland Chapter and PMI PC Krakow Branch for this opportunity. The event only served as a valuable learning experience and solidified our commitment to human-centric practices and innovative AI solutions. We look forward to leveraging these insights to empower our employees further and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
