AmCham 30 Under 30: Natalia Duplaga’s Inspiring Journey
Today, we celebrate the accomplishments of Natalia Duplaga, a rising star at Exadel, who recently participated in the prestigious AmCham 30 Under 30 program. The American Chamber of Commerce Under 30 program recognizes the leadership potential of exceptional young professionals across diverse industries. We’re honored to have taken part!
Natalia’s story exemplifies how the program empowers individuals to develop their skills and navigate career transitions. Read her inspiring story below:
Transition to IT
Natalia’s journey in IT began in March 2020. While her background was in psychology, she found herself drawn to the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the IT field. The AmCham 30 Under 30 program turned out to be key in her journey, equipping Natalia with the leadership skills necessary to excel in her new role as a New Business Specialist.
My interest in IT was sparked by the dynamic and innovative nature of the industry, which offers endless opportunities for growth and problem-solving. Transitioning from a psychology background, I was drawn to the challenge of sourcing and recruiting top tech talent, combining analytical skills with an understanding of human behavior. Interestingly, at companies I’ve worked before, I was the first person in the role of researcher/sourcer. This pioneering position led these companies to establish entire teams dedicated to talent sourcing.

Activities within the 30 Under 30 program
Am Cham’s focus on leadership development resonated deeply with Natalia. During our interviews, she emphasized the importance of “adaptive leadership,” a principle she now applies by tailoring her leadership style to the specific needs of her team members and situations.
Participating in the 30 Under 30 program, I engaged in various leadership workshops and networking events that honed my strategic thinking and people management skills. Collaborative projects and mentorship sessions were particularly impactful, providing hands-on experience and insights from industry leaders.

From Sourcing Team Leader to New Business Specialist
During the first half of the AmCham program, Natalia’s role as a Sourcing Team Leader provided valuable experience in managing a team and honing her leadership skills. This leadership foundation played a significant part in transitioning to her current role at Exadel as a New Business Specialist in January of this year. The new position has allowed Natalia to further expand her skillset, broadening her understanding of market dynamics, and enhancing her abilities in pre-sales strategy, lead generation, and market research.
However, Natalia doesn’t leave her leadership skills behind. She continues to leverage the key strengths she developed during her time as a Team Leader.

- Effective Communication: Ensuring clear, consistent, and open lines of communication with my team and other departments.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Team Development: Providing continuous support, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges promptly and efficiently to maintain team productivity and morale.”
Plans for the Future
Beyond discussing the valuable skills she gained from the AmCham program, Natalia also outlined her plans to leverage these learnings in her future endeavors.
I plan to continue leveraging the skills and knowledge gained from the program by staying active in leadership communities and seeking continuous learning opportunities. This includes attending industry conferences, enrolling in advanced leadership courses, and staying updated with the latest trends in technology and management.
