What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications in Java + Quarkus
- Drive implementation and validation of FIX protocol integrations across systems
- Ensure adherence to best practices in automated testing and maintain high code quality standards
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for mid-level and junior developers
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with business and technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
- Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements in performance, scalability, and security
What You Bring
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java (11+)
- Deep expertise with Quarkus (RESTEasy, Panache, MicroProfile)
- Strong experience with FIX protocol integrations
- Proven experience leading development teams and performing code reviews
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Nice to have
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS)
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with QA frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, or Cypress)
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
