About the Client

The customer is a leading provider of software solutions and healthcare services. They provide hospitals and health systems and help those systems generate better data and insights to enable better healthcare.

The customer offers a robust portfolio of solutions that can be fully integrated and custom-configured to help healthcare organizations efficiently capture information for assessing and improving the quality and safety of patient care.

Project Tech Stack

  • Python (Databricks, PySpark)
  • .NET (maintaining existing codebase, migration to Python in Databricks)
  • SQL

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows in Databricks (PySpark, Python)
  • Support and gradually migrate the existing .NET codebase to Python-based solutions
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption across the team

What You Bring 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (or Software Engineer with strong data focus)
  • Proficiency in Python (including Databricks and PySpark)
  • Experience working with .NET applications and readiness to support/migrate existing solutions
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Willingness to learn and dive into new technologies
  • Strong communication skills: not only reporting work progress but also engaging in informal team interactions

Nice to have

  • Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, or distributed systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Background in software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, version control)

English level
