About the Client
The customer is a leading provider of software solutions and healthcare services. They provide hospitals and health systems and help those systems generate better data and insights to enable better healthcare.
The customer offers a robust portfolio of solutions that can be fully integrated and custom-configured to help healthcare organizations efficiently capture information for assessing and improving the quality and safety of patient care.
Project Tech Stack
- Python (Databricks, PySpark)
- .NET (maintaining existing codebase, migration to Python in Databricks)
- SQL
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows in Databricks (PySpark, Python)
- Support and gradually migrate the existing .NET codebase to Python-based solutions
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption across the team
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (or Software Engineer with strong data focus)
- Proficiency in Python (including Databricks and PySpark)
- Experience working with .NET applications and readiness to support/migrate existing solutions
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Willingness to learn and dive into new technologies
- Strong communication skills: not only reporting work progress but also engaging in informal team interactions
Nice to have
- Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, or distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Background in software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, version control)
English level
