As 2019 comes to an end, we wanted to recap what made it one of the strongest years yet for Exadel. We’ve broadened our list of clients. We’ve expanded our global engineering force. We’ve launched new solutions and a new innovation platform. 2019 has been nothing short of exceptional!
This past year has been one of focus, execution, and expansion. We started identifying some of our strongest areas of digital software engineering excellence and what we could do to enhance these strengths for our clients. We found that our commitment to agile development, open source and innovation-based technologies helped organizations create and maintain amazing products and platforms the most effectively. Within these areas, we developed new solutions and invested in dedicated engineering teams that were equipped and able to deliver high-value solutions to our customers. With new IT challenges emerging daily, we aim to continue our commitment to innovating and delivering software around new technologies like Kubernetes and blockchain.
With all this in mind, let’s look at Exadel’s top highlights from 2019.
Innovation Accelerates in the Cloud
One of our proudest achievements of the year was bringing to market the Exadel Innovation Cloud. The Innovation Cloud is a powerful low-code development platform that lets technology leaders explore and test new technologies such as blockchain, AI, mobile, chatbot, and machine learning models. Apps can be built in a matter of days and our expert consultants are available to assist with projects with no CAPEX. At Exadel, we understand how crucial it is to stay at the forefront of innovation. The momentum around the Innovation Cloud inspires us to push the cutting edge of software delivery services even further.
Riding the Wave of Excellence
We were honored to be named a Leader in the 2019 Forrester Wave for Midsize Agile Software Development Service Providers, one of the standout achievements of the year! Agile excellence is at the core of all we do and receiving this recognition amplified and validated this principle. Exadel was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Midsize Agile Software Development Service Providers, Q2 2019, by Forrester Research Inc. In this Wave, Forrester evaluated companies based on “Current Offering” “Strategy” and “Market Presence,” with Exadel achieving the highest score for Current Offering. This was a significant victory for everyone at Exadel and confirmed that the standard of excellence we deliver is second to none.
Features, Solutions, and Toolkits
2019 was a strong year for us in terms of creating new solutions and updating some of our tried and true platforms. Three examples stand out this year.
The move to the cloud, and especially Kubernetes, posed major challenges and benefits for enterprises. In order to help clients with this transition, we released CrossKube. CrossKube is a packaged solution that gives organizations the ability to deploy everything that is needed for a highly scalable, cloud-based application, including application best-practice templates for Kubernetes, microservices, containerization, application discovery, database connectivity, front-end application structure and automated testing. It can be deployed to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In addition, CrossKube has full support for Kubernetes, Bastion Firewall, multiple data sources, microservice architecture, QA automation, and Zabbix monitoring.
Appery.io announced it offers the most popular no-code features to support the Ionic 4 framework. The Appery.io AppBuilder allows developers and technology leaders alike to create iOS, Android, and Progressive Web Apps with no or low code. This feature makes application development more accessible to all technology leaders, maintaining the practical and low-cost reputation it is renowned for.
AEM Authoring Toolkit
Finally, our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Authoring Toolkit is an open source project developed and maintained by the Exadel Digital Marketing Technology team. The Toolkit is a packaged, fully supported solution for Exadel’s enterprise clients and is an open-source tool for the digital marketing community.
Late this year, we officially announced the opening of our new office in Germany, intended to support and enhance the growing local tech economy. The expansion into Germany was in response to the increased demand for digital software engineering services in the region. Exadel will provide local customers with digital transformation solutions in various modern IT technologies, including blockchain, AI/ML, Big Data and more. Exadel now boasts 20 locations around the globe with 18 in Europe.
With all of this amazing momentum heading into the new year, we’re excited to see where 2020 leads us. Thanks to those who have been a part of and supported this incredible journey — we look forward to another great year at Exadel!
