Lead DBE

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead DBE to join our professional and friendly team!

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with relational, document-based, key/value databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Redis, and maybe others available in Azure cloud
• Experience with Azure ecosystem and tools
• Expert level database skills and in-depth understanding of data management (e.g., permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
• Experience in developing scripts to automate frequent tasks using any of the scripting languages like shell scripts and/or Python
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, communications, and collaboration skills, ability to work well with a small distributed team

Nice to have:

• Experience with DevOps automation tools
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting and Azure Analytics Services, DWH, etc.
• Knowledge of database maintenance features like partitioning, purging, and scheduling database maintenance jobs

English level:
Intermediate

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of internal solutions from company’s private cloud to Azure
• Help developers with database solutions
• Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
• Optimize new and current database systems
• Define security and backup procedures
